KC Crafts is company based on the philosophy that continuous

KC Crafts is continuing to increase our customer base with companies of
all sizes from small manufactures to large billion dollar a year corporations.
We have provided our services to companies in the fields of machinery,
solar, medical, fuel cell, and automation manufacturing.
KC Crafts has the financial backing of Valley Bank of Southington Ct.
Working closely with our bankers we been able to obtain the financing our
company needs to continue our strong growth. With this support we have
purchased more automated equipment, updated software, and other
equipment to better service our customers. With the continued support of
Valley Bank, all projects of any size can be accomplished.
Our History
KC Crafts was founded by Normand Charette in 1999.
In 1984 he joined the Army and after completing basic training attended
school for 10 months at Aberdeen Proving Grounds. The school curriculum
included classes in the use of precision test equipment, basic electrical
wiring, basic hydraulics, trouble shooting techniques (hydraulics and
electrical), repair of hydraulic and electrical systems, assembly and
disassembly of hydraulic and electrical systems. blue-print and schematic
reading. Our founder also attended leadership schools
learning management and organizational skills.
After serving 6 years on active duty stationed within the USA and Germany
he left the service for the private sector. He was recalled to active duty and
served during Desert Storm assigned to the 24 Infantry Division in Iraq.
Leaving the Army in 1991 he had obtained the rank of Sergeant.
Reentering the private sector, Mr. Charette held several manufacturing
positions over the past 18 years. His different positions included electro
mechanical assembly, Lead man, Service technician, Service Manager, and
Electrical, Assembly Coordinator and then Manager.
After 14 years working in this field, Mr. Charette took his vast knowledge in
industrial control systems and started KC Crafts Industrial Controls. Since
its start KC Crafts has continued to strive to offer its customers high quality
fairly priced products. Our future seems bright as we continue to offer
customers cost effective and reliable products.
